Some cultures venerate their elderly, and those elderly folks pass on useful knowledge and perhaps some wisdom for the benefit of generations to follow.
Some cultures, because illusion is the glue that holds up the house of cards, are terrified of old people that have something to say. Those cultures make a mockery of elderly people, and train them to spend their golden years in assanine frivolity as though that is some kind of reward for a life well spent.
Keep the children in front of video games. Keep the adults working to pay off the debts they acquired in exchange for shit they don’t need. And most importantly, keep the geriatrics on Harleys pretending they are bad-ass freedom lovers, when they are in fact, helpless slaves with scrambled eggs in their heads.
